I am excited to invite you to join me for another exciting musical journey, to deepen your understanding of the instrument and expand your creativity and self-expression.

Below you will find the information about the 2025 Master The Fretboard program, musical examples, and pricing.

Let's go!

For Who?

If you have always wanted to learn and better understand the musical concepts of scales & modes and how to actually use them to make music, yet found it overwhelming, complex, or too technical - This program is for you!

My intention with this program is to make the (somewhat complex) science & art of music harmony accessible, experiential, and musical.

The program is open for all levels -

Each musical concept will be broken down into incremental practice variations that fit both beginners & advanced guitarists.

Program's Structure
New Scale Every Month
Every month we will explore a specific scale/mode, through a specific etude (musical exercise).

By learning and practicing the etude, you will learn both the fretboard shape/mathematical pattern of the scale, as well as its musical character & feel.

Each etude contains a few different variations to meet the different skill levels among the participants - starting from a basic variation (simple fingerpicking) to advanced variations (incl. rhythmic hits & ornaments).

Tabs, video explanations & structured practice instructions will be shared every beginning of the month via the Shai Guitar Video App.
By focusing on 1 scale for a whole month - you give yourself the opportunity to really feel the qualities of the scale and its musical character.

Throughout the whole year we will cover all of the fundamental scales used in western music (see curriculum below).

Live Masterclasses

Every first Sunday of the month (20:00 CET) we will have a live call to follow up on your progress, go through the theoretical aspects of the scale together, and address any questions you might have.

All sessions are recorded and available for re-watch.

On-going guidance
The different practice variations, instructions & tabs are shared via the Shai Guitar Video App.
Throughout the month you are invited to share your practice videos & questions in the app and, based on your progress & curiosity, I provide clarifications and practice modifications.
